The International Biscuit Festival in Knoxville, TN drew record crowds for its second annual Festival last Memorial Day weekend. Will we see record attendance at the 3rd annual International Biscuit Festival?

Scheduled for Wednesday, May 16th  through Saturday, May 19th, 2012, the Festival exists for the purpose of celebrating that favorite all-American food, the biscuit.

The Festival will include a variety of biscuit making events, including a recipe contest for the following four categories of biscuits: Sweet Biscuits, Savory Biscuits, Special Biscuits and Student Biscuits. Quoting the website, “Each category will have three finalists chosen from all of the submitted recipes and those bakers will be invited to bake live in front of our panel of celebrity judges.”

Individual tickets for the Biscuit Breakfast and Biscuit Boulevard will be on sale Saturday, May 19th at the Biscuit Festival Information Booth  at Market and Clinch in downtown Knoxville. See the the Biscuit Festival website for bargains.
